This policy explains the cookies and similar technologies used on PayFeeCalc. It reflects the technologies observed on the website at the date above and should be updated before any new advertising, analytics, embedded-media, or marketing tool is enabled.
Calculator privacy
The PayFeeCalc calculator does not use cookies, local storage, or session storage to save the amount you enter or the options you select. It also does not add the amount to the page URL. The calculation runs in your browser.
Technologies currently used
Strictly necessary infrastructure
The hosting and security infrastructure may use strictly necessary cookies to deliver the site, manage traffic, detect bots or abuse, and protect the service. Cloudflare documents several security cookies that can be set depending on the protection features enabled and the nature of a request. These are not used by the calculator to store transaction amounts.
The exact cookie and duration can vary with the security feature and configuration. Because these technologies protect and deliver the website, blocking them may affect access or site operation. See Cloudflare’s cookie documentation for details.
Cloudflare Web Analytics
The site loads the Cloudflare Web Analytics performance beacon from static.cloudflareinsights.com. Cloudflare describes Web Analytics as cookie-free and says it collects page-view and performance metrics without collecting visitors’ personal data or tracking individual users across Cloudflare customers.
Cloudflare Web Analytics is disclosed here as a similar measurement technology even though it does not use an analytics cookie. Read Cloudflare’s Web Analytics documentation.
Website administration
WordPress may set sign-in and preference cookies for authorized site administrators. These are used to operate and maintain the website and are not part of the public fee calculation.
Tools not currently detected
At the last review, Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager were not detected on the reviewed public pages. This policy and any consent controls must be reviewed before either service, advertising pixels, embedded video, or another non-essential tracking tool is introduced.
Managing cookies
Most browsers allow you to view, block, or delete cookies through their privacy settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent security checks or parts of the website from working correctly. Browser controls do not remove the calculator’s amount because the calculator does not store it in a cookie.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the website’s providers or technologies change. The last-updated date will be revised when a material change is published.
